Tiger Woods Swing not effected by Knee Surgery
Tiger Woods returns to the Golf course this week for the first time since Knee Surgery. His golf swing, which many said would be effected by the Knee Surgery Operation, seems to be in great shape.
According to Woods Golf Swing coach Hank Haney said there’s no change in the way Tiger Woods is playing in the wake of recent knee surgery.
“He’s swinging the club exactly the same as he was at Augusta before the surgery,” Haney said.
Haney is with his No. 1 student this week as he pursues a 14th major championship in the 108th U.S. Open at Torrey Pines.
It’s Woods’ first tournament since undergoing surgery on his left knee April 15, two days after he finished second at the Masters.
It was the third time surgery was performed on the left knee, this time an arthroscopic procedure to remove cartilage. The last time in 2003, he had a cyst removed and fluid drained. In his first tournament back, he won the Buick Invitational played on the same course as this week’s second major of the season.
